I have been an artist for over thirty years. When I open the door to my studio I enter a whole new world.  It is the magical world of creativity where anything can happen and usually does. 

Creativity for me is an interesting process of which I seem to have no control.  I pick up my brush and start to paint, letting my sense of play take over.  I might find that a painting comes together rather quickly, or sometimes I work at it adding and taking away many layers before I am satisfied. 

It is a joy to paint because I am always excited to see what picture will immerge.  It is the thrill of putting colors together and adding the designs and collage. It is the ability to change what I don't like and enhance the things I do.  I continue this process until I can stand back and say that I am happy with what I have done.
